Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy
Here is a case of 22 years old girl with a giant 15 cm ovarian cyst treated by laparoscopic surgery. Our gynaecologist, Dr Bhawna Agarwal, and her team successfully diagnosed the giant ovarian cyst.
Ovarian cysts are benign (noncancerous) and are typically caused by hormonal changes, pregnancy, or conditions like endometriosis. Treatment is determined by the patient’s age, menstrual status, symptoms, the structure of the cyst, and size.
